Obituary of Bea VanTil

VanTil, Bea (nee Lautenbach), a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Riverview Gardens. God called to himself Mrs. Bea VanTil in her 89th year. “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” PHILIPPIANS 3:20, 21. Born on June 22, 1925, Leuwarden, The Netherlands, to William and Trientje Lautenbach. Beloved wife of 53 years to Harke (Harry) VanTil. Loving mother of Teresa (Ed) Petrusma of Trenton and Henry & Joanne VanTil of Blenheim. Cherished grandmother of Bethany VanderDeen (Dave), Janelle, Leanna & Jeremy Petrusma, Matthew, Ryan, Courtney, Kristen, Laura & Wm. Hudson VanTil. Predeceased by her sisters Jetty Lutgendorff and Aafge Meyers. Survived by her sister Wilma Peereboom (John) of Victoria, B.C. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Christian Reformed Church on Saturday, January 25, 2014.
