Obituary of Mac Stennett

STENNETT: Mac – A resident of the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown and formerly of Burk Line in Harwich, Mac Stennett passed away peacefully on January 25, 2014 at the age of 94. Born in Chatham to the late Percy and Helen (McEachran) Stennett. Beloved husband to the late Jean (Tunstall) and the late Thelma (Crowder). Loving father of Carol Spiruda (Laddie) of Highgate, Judy DeRooy (John) of R.R. # 7 Blenheim, Helen Stennett of Brampton, Shirley Grant (Don) of Corunna, Bill Stennett of Ridgetown and Ron Stennett (Donna) of R.R.#7 Blenheim. Father-in-law to Jane Stennett of R.R. # 7 Blenheim. Predeceased by his children Wayne, Don, Bobby, Kenny, Jackie and Barbara. Dearly loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Predeceased by his siblings Marion Curran (John), Dorothy Gander (Glen) and John Stennett. Mac farmed all of his life in Mull. As per Mac’s wishes, a private family service will be held at the Funeral Home with an interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
