Obituary of James Brian 'JB' Smith

SMITH: James Brian “JB”– A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of Etobicoke, JB Smith passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the age of 68. Born in Toronto, JB was the son of the late James and Gladys Alberta (Pugh) Smith. Beloved husband of 28 years to Elaine (nee Wilson). Fondly remembered by his cousins Sandy and Bernice Leslie of Rexdale, Grace Rock of Aurora, Carol and Wayne Lang of London, Brian and Charlotte Bouckley of London and their children. Son-in-law to Wilfred Arthur and Carol Wilson. Brother-in-law to Mary Jane and George Smith of Charing Cross, Bob and Geri-Lyn Wilson of Horton Line and the late Jim Wilson (2008) and Una Wilson of Chatham and their families. Also missed by many friends and extended family. JB retired from Etobicoke Hydro after 36 years of service. He was an avid Nascar fan and a lover of fine cars. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of JB’s life will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
