Obituary of Dan Dejaegher

Dejaegher: Dan. A resident of Chatham, Dan Dejaegher died peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday February 3, 2014 at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto. He was born in Chatham, 60 years ago on June 29, 1953, beloved son of Marshal Dejaegher and his wife Sheila of Chatham, and the late Beatrice Dejaegher (2006). Loving husband of Sylvia Dejaegher. Dear father of Keith Dejaegher and his wife Erin of Chatham, and Chris Dejaegher of London. Proud grandfather of Mason and Paige Dejaegher. Dear brother of Mike Dejaegher and his wife Liz of Waterloo, and the late Judy White; and brother-in-law of Bill White of Windsor. Dan will be fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He retired from Navistar International where he worked for many years, most recently as Chairman of the CAW. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon Street, Chatham on Saturday February 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
