Obituary of Alex Horvath

HORVATH, Alex, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 81. Alex was lovingly cared for by his wife and best friend of 56 years, Carol Horvath. Loved dearly by his children Dale (Susanne) Horvath, Darlene Horvath (Bob Legue) and Brenda Howes (Patrick Wrozek). Beloved grandfather of Crystal Parker (Shea Bailey), Tanya Wilson, Bobbie Labadie, Terrie Horvath, Jamie Howes, Chris Howes, Carley Horvath and Charlie Wrozek. Loving great-grandfather of Brennan Horvath, Ezequiel Trigo and Carolynn Prineau. Gone to be with his loving canine companion, his dalmation, Frankie. Al was a long-time employee of International truck. At Al’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Al’s wishes, a celebration of Al’s life will be held at the family Horvath home on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Adrian Verburg, VON, VHA and Bayshore Home Health Care for their compassionate care.
