Obituary of James 'Allan' Driver

DRIVER: James “Allan”. A resident of Ridgetown, Allan Driver died peacefully at the Village on the Ridge on Friday February 21, 2014. He was born in Orford Township, 85 years ago, son of the late James & Effie (Sinclair) Driver. Beloved husband of Ila (Coulter) Driver. Dear father of Tom & Sherry Driver of Blenheim. Grandfather of Cassey Beauvais & Jon of Ridgetown, Ian Driver of Chatham, Courtney Driver & Tom of Chatham, Bill Steel of British Columbia, and Kari Steel of Blenheim. Great grandfather of Ethan Driver, Brooke Steel, and Sophie Beauvais. Brother of the late Don & Phyllis Driver. Allan farmed his whole life in the Palmyra Area, and in later years enjoyed his work at the Ridgetown Golf Club. He was affectionately known as “Driver” to many friends and co-workers. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 1:30 p.m., followed by interment at Trinity Cemetery in Morpeth.
