Obituary of Doris Margaret Legein

LEGEIN, Doris Margaret, a resident of Blenheim, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 62. Beloved wife and best friend to Henry for 45 years. Loving mother of Maria Pickering (Shawn) of Chatham, Janet Thorpe (Dave) of Tilbury and David Legein of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Brandon & Trevor Thorpe and Tim Pickering. Pre-deceased by her brother Robert Mosey. Doris is survived by many nieces and nephews. Doris was a strong, loving and caring woman. She loved vacationing Down South and was known to be a “cruiser”. Doris could be counted on for anything and even at her worse, Doris always put her family and friends before herself. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation is to take place. Donations in memory of Doris to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
