Obituary of Doug DeBoer

DEBOER, Douglas A resident of Chatham and formerly of Owen Sound, Doug DeBoer, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 47. Beloved husband to Joyce DeBoer (Vyn). Loving father to Jocelyn DeBoer, Kristen DeBoer both of Chatham. Cherished son of Hank & Shena DeBoer and son-in-law to Jack & Ann Vyn. Brother to Harry & Hilda DeBoer, Ken & Janice DeBoer, Ron & Karen DeBoer, and brother-in-law to Thelma & Rob Moesker, Annette & Ric Singor, Ellen & Ken Vandersluis, Grace & Bill Dieleman, Harold & Michelle Vyn. Forever missed by many nieces, nephews, and special friends Fred & Pam Smids, Pastor William Koopmans, Dawn, Mackenzie, Brandon, and Amy. Doug worked as Service Manager at MC Business Solutions for 27 years, he was an active member with a heart for serving others at Grace Christian Reformed Church. Family to receive friends at the Grace Christian Reformed Church, 255 Tweedsmuir Ave West, Chatham on Monday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Church on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor William Koopmans officiating.
