Obituary of Patrick Keenan

A resident of Raleigh Township and formerly of Windsor, Patrick Keenan, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the age of 59. Born in Halifax, NS, son of Bill & Ruth Keenan and son-in-law to Lydia Case Atkinson & the late Jack Atkinson. Beloved husband to Janet Keenan (nee Case). Father to Yvette & Matt Sears, Lizette & Dan Beaulieu, Hayley Case Bullard & Matt Raitt, Jennifer Eyraud & Wayne. Grandfather to Draven, Dallyn Graham, Desmond, Dexter Sears, Zoé, Owen Beaulieu, Abigail Case Bullard, Tyler, and Ryan. Great-Grandfather to Dakota. Brother to Lisa & Paul Schlosser, Lori & Dave Grenier, Mike & Linda Keenan, Ted & Debbie Keenan. Brother-in-law to Paula & Tim Child, Brenda & Pat Blonde, Jim & Judy Case. Forever missed by his nieces and nephews Erika, Kris Schlosser, Breanna, Michelle, Andrea, and David Grenier, Emelie, Matthew Keenan, Bob Keenan & Aimee, Stephan Case and Randi, Terry Case and Stacey, Sarah Blonde, Trevor Blonde and Kristen, Mark Blonde and Christina. Patrick will be missed by his companion dogs Stella & Jessie, his horses Zeek, Bixby, Flash, and his cats Eevee, Nautica. Patrick attended Patterson Collegiate, Windsor, and studied Addiction Studies at McMaster University, Hamilton. He retired from Chrysler to farm in Raleigh Township. He was an active member of the Kent Cloverleaf Conservation Club, the Blenheim Oldtimers Hockey League, he had a love for horses, horse back riding, golfing, and fishing. Patrick was an advocate of AA and very proud of 25 years of sobriety. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
