Obituary of Stuart 'Stu' Cuthbert

CUTHBERT, Stuart “Stu”, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, at the age of 72. Beloved husband and best friend to Sandra for 46 years. Loving father of Scott & Rebecca Cuthbert, of Chatham, Todd & Debbie Cuthbert, of Tecumseh, and Julie Cuthbert, of Chatham. Cherished grand-father of Devon, Jacob, James, Mikayla & Brianna. Dear brother of Nancy Korcok and the late Janet Cuthbert. Brother-in-law to Diane McKnight (Cliff), Peter McKnight (Lil) and Glenn McKnight (Elizabeth). Stuart absolutely loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his work with the Church. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Martin officiating. Private family interment to follow. Donations in memory of Stuart to Outreach For Hunger, Salvation Army or Neighbourhood Link would be appreciated by the family.
