Obituary of Lucy Mitrovic

MITROVIC: Lucy -A resident of Chatham, Lucy Mitrovic passed away at Meadow Park Nursing Home on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the age of 73. Born in Chatham, Lucy was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lekavy) Mitrovic. Stepdaughter of the late Victor Horvath. Stepsister to Margaret Furtah of Wallaceburg and the late Camy and Leo McMullen. Dear aunt to Angela, Kristen, Danny, Jay(Sharon), Richard (Michelle) and Rodney. Cousin to Edward (Linda) Trinacty of Chatham, Pat (David) McNeil of Owen Sound, Charlie (Linda) Lekavy of Chatham, Jim Lekavy of Chatham, Janice Lekavy of Chatham and Jay Lekavy of Oshawa. Much loved friend to James Hewitt, Vera Dickson and Larry Claeys, all of Chatham. Lucy retired from Union Gas after over 37 years of service. She loved dogs and cats and will be greatly missed by her four legged feline companion Oliver. As per Lucy’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
