Obituary of Anna May 'Ann' Thomas

THOMAS: Anna May “Ann” – A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Lighthouse Cove, Ann Thomas passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the age of 89. Born in Ireland, Ann was the daughter of the late Harry & Margaret Stephenson. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Thomas of Tilbury, her two brothers and eight sisters. Dear aunt to Ann Pickering of Chatham, Bill Stewart (Pat) of London and Jack Stewart (Lucy) of Las Vegas. Also missed by many great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, friends an extended family. Ann ran several restaurants throughout Chatham over the years. She thoroughly enjoyed feeding the ducks at Lighthouse Cove. As per Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family interment to be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim, at a later date.
