Obituary of Margaret Reedy

REEDY, Margaret Teresa, a resident of Chatham. With broken hearts, the ‘Reedy Girls’ announce the passing of their mother Margaret Teresa Reedy, on Friday May 16, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus. Born in London England, daughter of the late George & Catherine (Rockett) Toller. Beloved mother of Saundra Elizabeth (the late Bernard, 2013), Chatham; Catherine Theresa Reedy, Sarnia; Angela Frances (Bill) Mercer, Chatham; and Cheryl Ann (Fred) White, Chatham. Dear Grandmother of Kim (Roger) Pottier, Chatham; Jamie Rombouts, Chatham; David Delmotte, Wallaceburg; Deanna Lovell, Sarnia; Jessie Pamer, Sarnia; Shannon Shepley, Chatham; Dan (Jaimie) Brant, Wallaceburg; Tracey (Dan Buston) White, Leamington; Matthew White, Quebec; and the late Master Cpl. Kristal (Brant) Giesbrecht. Also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister of Betty (the late Len) Picon, England and the late Edward & Edna Toller. Margaret immigrated to Canada as a war bride to marry the late Harry Reedy (2002). She was an avid reader and spent many years behind the counter at the Lewis Book Store. Friends are invited to gather at the McKinlay Funeral Home Reception Centre for a time of fellowship and lunch on Sunday May 25, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. In keeping with the wishes of Margaret, cremation has taken place.
