Obituary of David Andrew James Mallen

Mallen, David Andrew James, a resident of Wallaceburg and formerly Windsor, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 68. Predeceased by his parents Andrew & Edith (Simpson) Mallen. Beloved husband to Bonnie Lou Mallen (Chambers) of 44 years. Loving father of Michael & Yvette Mallen of Windsor and Jennifer & Gary Henderson of Wallaceburg. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Tyler, Ryan, Amber and Dustin. Dear brother of Jim Mallen (Denise) and Elizabeth & Wes Tremblay. Special brother-in-law to Bryan Chambers, Robert Chambers and Cathy Chambers. David is survived by several nieces and nephews and father-in-law Robert Chambers Sr. David was a sales representative for Morton Wholesale Foods. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 18 and Moose Lodge, Branch 1156. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation is to take place with interment to follow at a later date.
