Obituary of Larry Arthur Mason

MASON, Larry Arthur, a resident of Port Rowan and formerly of Chatham, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Juravinski Cancer Centre, Hamilton, after a courageous battle with Leukemia, at the age of 67. Predeceased by his parents Clarence & Margaret Mason. Beloved husband of Gayle Mason (Graham) for 31 years. Loving father of Lisa Mason, Keith Mason (Nicole), all of Chatham. Loving step-father of Kenneth & Laura Walker of Blenheim, Janice Walker (Dave) of Dutton and Jill & Allan Deseure of Chatham. Cherished grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Missed dearly by his brother-in-laws Bill Graham (Elaine) and Terry Graham. Larry is survived by several nieces and nephews. Larry was a long time employee at Oxford Automotive. Larry lived his dream of living on the water in Port Rowan facing Long Point Bay. He was an avid fisherman who loved hockey and baseball. Larry was a former member of Ducks Unlimited. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Cremation is to take place.
