Obituary of Suzanne Wagenaer

WAGENAER (DeBock), Suzanne, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, June 16, 2014 at her residence at the age of 77. Born in Vrasene, Belgium, daughter of the late Frans & Augusta De Bock. Beloved wife to Lucien ( Lou) Wagenaer for 58 years. Loving mother of Linda & Ken Macdonald of Caledon and Sheila & Larry Balkwill of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Carolyn Dyer, Christopher Dyer, Larry Balkwill Jr, Katie Balkwill and Matthew Balkwill. Dear sister to Godelieve and the late Maria, Emma and Celine. One of Suzanne’s greatest pleasures was baking cookies for her grandchildren whom she dearly loved and adored deeply. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Chatham.
