Obituary of Rena May Eastman

EASTMAN: Rena May (nee Bentley) - A resident of Blenheim, Rena Eastman passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the age of 103. Born in Harwich Township, Rena was the daughter of the late Oscar and Florence (Walker) Bentley. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Eastman (1989). Loving mother of Don Eastman (Anne) of Sarnia and Allan Eastman (Gail) of Blenheim. Proud grandmother of Paul Eastman (Margaret) of Sarnia, Jennifer Eastman of London and Jeffrey Eastman of Blenheim. Predeceased by her grandson Michael Eastman (1992). Great-grandmother to Foreste Eastman, Samantha Eastman and Madison Fisher. Predeceased by her brother Mervyn Bentley (Vida). Rena was a nurse at the Public General Hospital in Chatham for many years. She was a proud Rotarian and a lifelong member of the Blenheim United Church. A Memorial Service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014 with Rev. Wanda Burse officiating.
