Obituary of Edna Ellen Jackson

JACKSON: Edna - 1918 - 2014 - 97th Year. Edna passed peacefully on Friday June 27 , 2014 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus. Survived by her children - Kenneth Jackson (Jeannie) of London, Keith Jackson of R.R.#3 Blenheim , Donna Gill (Corrie) of Erie Beach. Grandchildren - Byron , Stacey (Craig) , Karisa and Todd. Great-grandchildren - Evan , Ashton , and Kaylee. Predeceased by husband of nearly 50 years, Norman Jackson (1989). Survived by her sister Mary Demars (late George) and her brother Harry Colenutt (Hazel). Sister- in -law to Doris Colenutt. Predeceased by her parents George and Hannah (Russell) Colenutt and her brothers Burt (Jean), Nelson and Frank Colenutt, all from Essex county. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 12:00pm until the Funeral Service at 2:00p.m. with Rev. Eric Skillings officiating, followed by a reception. There will no grave side service , as cremation will take place. Private interment for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to the Blenheim Seniors Centre Building Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
