Obituary of Carol Marie Smith

SMITH (Nee Stirling), Carol Marie, a resident of Ridgetown, is now resting in the arms of Jesus after passing away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 72. Dear daughter of the late Eugene & Edith Stirling (Cleave). Dearly missed by her partner Gary Burke. Loving mother of Carolyn Glasier, of Chatham, Maureen (Chris) Kelly, of Burlington, Suzanne (Michael) Williamson, of Oakville and Michael Smith (Kendra), of Calgary. Cherished grandmother to Samuel, Amanda, Connor, Hannah, Julia, Tanner, Will, Hayden, Carson and Harlyn. Dear sister to Barbara Hillman (Douglas), of Tilbury and Neil (Kim) Stirling, of Chatham. Carol will be dearly missed by Uncle Ted and several dear cousins, all of England. Carol is survived by several nieces and nephews. Carol loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. Carol was well loved and loved well. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Donna Green officiating.
