Obituary of Ruth Cooper

Cooper, Ruth, a resident of Blenheim and formerly Ridgetown. Ruth Cooper died Saturday July 26, 2014 at the Blenheim Community Village at the age of 91. Born in Howard Township, Ontario daughter of the late Lance and Bertha (Spence) Devereux. Beloved wife of the late James Tate Cooper (1995). Dear mother of Glenn Cooper and wife Carol of Oakville, Nancy Laverne and husband Peter of Toronto, David Cooper and wife Karen of Sleepy Hollow, Doug Cooper and wife Lorie of Chatham and Perry Cooper and wife Janet of Jasper, AB. Grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 4. Predeceased by brothers Ralph, Harold, Glen and Walter. Also survived by sisters-in-law Rosemarie Devereux, Ridgetown; Fran Devereux, London and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was a Registered Nurse and for many years an active member of the Ridgetown Golf & Curling Club and Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 76 Main St.,E., Ridgetown on Tuesday July 29, 2014 from 10:00 am – 12 noon. The Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon with Grandson Jason Cooper officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
