Obituary of Margaret 'Peggy' Drury

DRURY, Margaret “Peggy” A resident of Chatham, Margaret “Peggy” Drury (O’Rourke), passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday, September 13, 2014, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents Harold & Dorothy (Jackson) O’Rourke, brother Robert O’Rourke (2010), sister Judith O’Rourke (1952), and son Paul Drury (1984). Loving mother to Michael Drury, Scott Drury, David Drury, Richard Drury, Barbara Drury, Robbie Drury. Forever missed by her grandson Brandon. Survived by sister-in-law Rosemary, brother Frank (Judy) O’Rourke, and sisters Nancy (Wayne) Ramboer, Joyce (Jack) Turkington. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Peggy loved her family, children, and especially her greatest treasure her grandson Brandon. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon Street, Chatham on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Daniel Bombardier as celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery. Those wishing to leave a donation in memory of Margaret “Peggy” Drury are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.
