Obituary of Dorothy van Vrouwerff

van Vrouwerff, Dorothy A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Belleville, Dorothy May van Vrouwerff, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 22, 2014 at the Four Counties Health Services at the age of 84. Born in Howard Township, daughter of the late Isaac & Minnie Wardell. Beloved wife to Gerrit van Vrouwerff and the late Ronald Hogg (1965). Loving mother to Janet & Grant Long of Ridgetown, Gary & Mary Hogg of Ridgetown, step-mother to Bruce & Tracie van Vrouwerff, and Tina & Jim La Framboise. Loved grandmother to Jason Long, Melanie Long, Lauren Hogg, and step-grandmother to Samantha van Vrouwerff, Collin van Vrouwerff, James La Framboise, Sean La Framboise. Survived by her brother Albert Wardell (Mary), and predeceased by siblings Gladys Griffith (Earl), Ray Wardell (Mary), and John Wardell (Doris). Missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Dwight Holditch officiating. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery.
