GILLETT, Denis Patrick – A resident of Chatham, Denis passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, September 25, 2014. Beloved husband of Jaynie Gillett (Clark), and father of Mark Gillett (Kristen) of Waterloo, Chris Gillett (Courtenay) of Chatham, Stefanie Gillett (Chris) of Victoria, B.C. Step-Father to Darryl Myers (Aleks) of Calgary, AB, Chris Myers of London, and Stephen Myers (Jess) of Calgary, AB. Adoring grandfather to Kennedy, Rylee, Paige, Haley, Charlie, Jack, and Eleanor. Dear brother to Noreen Burchiel (late John) of Chatham, Jack Gillett (Lynda) of London, Wayne Gillett (Jeannine) of Chatham, and Dorothy Bielby (Tom) of Grimsby. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews. An avid sports fan, and loyal friend, Denis enjoyed taking trips to the Dominican, and will be greatly missed by all. Cremation. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham, from 7pm – 9pm Sunday, September 28, 2014.
