Obituary of Roscoe Howard Miller

MILLER: Roscoe Howard – A resident of Chatham, Roscoe Miller passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the age of 92. Born in Palmyra, Roscoe was the son of the late Roscoe and Erma (McPhail) Miller. Roscoe was the beloved companion of 13 years to Eileen Sheppy and was predeceased by his wife Olga (nee Vick, 1996). Dear father to Howard Miller of Michigan and Leonard Miller of Merlin. Cherished step-father to Larry Sheppy (Diana) of Blenheim, Joey Taaffe (Pat) of Orangeville, Gord Sheppy of Newbury, Vicki Dinga (Glen Meilleur) of Shrewsbury and Betty Pepper (Brian) of Blenheim. Loved by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roscoe eventually returned to Palmyra after retiring from the Detroit Police Department after 25 years of service. He was Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. A Private Family Service will be held with an interment to follow at Trinity Cemetery.
