Obituary of William Sennema

SENNEMA, William “Bill” A resident of Windsor, William “Bill” Sennema, passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Born on August 12, 1938, son of the late Alice & Ralph Sennema. Beloved husband of Nancy Sennema. Loving father of Richard Sennema & Margaret of Windsor, Christine Sennema of Windsor, and Katherine Sennema & Chris Overholt of Lakeshore. Always remembered by his grandchildren Justin Sennema, Nicolas Overholt, and Jacob Overholt, and 4 great-grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Luuk Sennema (Joan), Dick Sennema (Colleen), John Sennema (Evelyn), Ed Sennema (Marilyn), Trixie Usselman (Mel), Willemina Sennema, James Sennema (Moya). Predeceased by his brothers Henry Sennema (Iola), Roelof Sennema. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bill retired as a manager of telecommunications from Bell Canada. He will be remembered by his invention of the “doggy door opener” and his love for classical music. Bill was always happy to help his neighbours, friends and family by fixing anything you gave him.
