Obituary of Rhea Bertrand

A resident of Chatham, Rhea Bertrand, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the age of 78. Born in Iroquois Falls on October 20, 1935, daughter of the late Dosithe & Rebecca Gervais. Beloved wife of the late Simon Bertrand (1964). Loving mother to Simon Bertrand of Windsor, Colette Bertrand of Ridgetown, Charles Bertrand of Waterloo, Rodney Watters (Rosa) of St. Thomas. And Raymond Chatelain of Niagara Falls. Forever missed by her 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Survived by her siblings Laurence Lareviere (Theo) of Iroquois Falls, Aurele Gervais (Diane) of Barrie, and Donat Gervais (Cecile) of Thessalon. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service was held at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Iroquois Falls at a later date.
