PEREIRA: Laurinda – A resident of Chatham, Laurinda Pereira passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the age of 88. Born in Portugal, Laurinda was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Marcia (Pereira) Marques. Beloved wife of the late Antonio (1962). Loving mother to Maria Odete Rolo (Herculano) of Chatham and Ana Maria Patatas (Alexandre) of Portugal. Proud grandmother of Patricia Graham (Michael) of Windsor, Bruno Patatas (Liliana Pimenta) of Portugal, Andreia Rolo (Stephen Brown) of Oakville and Carlos Rolos (Jaclyn) of Chatham. Great-grandmother to Miguel, Tiago, Joana, Luca, Dominic, Isaac, Harper and Iris. Dear sister to Antonio Marques (Auria) of Portugal. Predeceased by two sisters and two brothers. Also missed by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Entombment to follow at Maple Leaf Mausoleum.
