Obituary of Gerry Wright

WRIGHT, Gerry A resident of Chatham and formerly of Windsor, Gerry Wright, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 68. Born in Windsor, son of the late Sid & Muriel Wright. Loving husband to Judy Wright and the late Nila Wright (1977). Cherished father to Lisa Krekewich (Ernie), Jennifer Birkby (John), Wendy Baker (Brian), Tim Wright (Sheri). Forever remembered by his 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Brother to Patricia Roberts (Don), the late Wayne Wright, and the late Marjorie Wright. Gerry was owner of Chatham Bearings in Chatham and Wallaceburg for 35 years, he was President of Maple City Country Club in 2012 and voted honourable member in 2013. He was the social coordinator for IMI and a member of the Royal Canadian Navy Reserve from 1962-1965. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Private Family Service will be held. Cremation to follow.
