Obituary of Ives Dagneau

DAGNEAU, Ives – A resident of Chatham, Ives passed away at Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Friday, October 10, 2014. Beloved father of Nancy Inwood (Jim) of Erie Beach, and Bill Dagneau (Janet) of Collingwood. Loving grandfather of Lisa (Ryan Kee), Scott Inwood (Cherie), Emily Dagneau (DJ Schneider), and Andrew Dagneau (Cynthia). Proud great-grandfather to Brady and Harper Kee. Living to the age of 96, Ives is now with his late wife Elizabeth “Besse” (nee: Taylor). An avid golfer, Ives was a member of Maple City Golf Club for many years. He was also a former player for the Chatham Maroons from 1937-1938. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street Chatham, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at 10:00 am. A Memorial Service to follow at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00 am. Rev. Michael Maroney officiating. Friends are invited to join the family for lunch at the McKinlay Reception Centre following the service. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
