Obituary of Ann McCann

McCann: Ann A resident of Tilbury, Ann McCann died on Thursday October 9, 2014 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance. She was born in Chatham, 69 years ago on July 26, 1945, daughter of the late Francis & Margaret (Dillon) Hogan. Beloved wife of Robert McCann of Tilbury, and cherished mother of Frank McCann & his wife Jenn of Amherstburg. Loving sister of Catharine Hogan of Ridgetown, and fondly remembered by several cousins, as well as numerous friends and neighbours. She will be dearly missed by her dear canine companion “Charlie.” Ann worked for many years at the Southwest Regional Centre, and later with Participation Industries in Windsor. She was a founding member of the Board of the Tilbury Family Health Team, and valued the friendships made through her work with the “Connections Ladies.” Family will gather for a private service followed by interment at Botany Cemetery. Friends are welcome to a Celebration of Ann’s Life to be held at the Ridgetown Royal Canadian Legion, Saturday October 18, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. If desired, please consider a memorial donation to the Diabetes Association or the Tilbury Family Health Team.
