Obituary of Gloria Sue Stowe

Stowe, Gloria Sue “Molly”, a resident of Chatham. A gracious and gentle lady in Chatham, Ontario on October 13, 2014. Born November 14, 1929 in Montreal, Quebec. Raised in Kitchener, Ontario, Molly was the daughter of the late Angus Sim and Susanne Schafer. She was the devoted wife of the late John Henry “Jack” Stowe and stoically survived his death in 1985. Loving and much loved mother of Joanne (Keith) Morrow, London; John Henry Stowe 3rd (Jill Hunter), Chatham and the late Janice Stowe (2014). Molly will be lovingly remembered by granddaughters Blythe (Oliver) Dowden; Beth (Jonathon Jackson) Morrow, Ashley Stowe and Courtney Stowe, and great grandchildren Dylan, Jaylen, Alice and George. Molly was a longtime member of the Chatham Baptist Church, The Heather Club Hospital Auxiliary and a hospital Palliative Care Volunteer. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Monday October 20, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. The Funeral Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Terris officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim on Tuesday October 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Molly to Riverview Gardens, Chatham would be appreciated.
