Obituary of Peter Clarke

CLARKE, Peter A resident of Chatham and formerly of Bannon, NB, Peter Clarke, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the age of 77. Born in Bannon, NB, eldest son of the late Paul & Elzina Clarke. Devoted husband for 27 years to Judy Clarke. Father to Dale Clarke of Ingersol, Perry & Helen Clarke of London, Heather & the late Brian Downer of Ingersol, and step-father of Jeanette Cadotte of Vancouver, BC. Grandfather to Derek & Nicole Downer, Kyle Clarke. Brother to Edward & Diane Clarke of Chatham, and Lorne & Carol Clarke of St. Thomas. Survived by his uncle Wendall Burlock, numerous nieces and nephews. Peter was a member of the Moose Lodge 1692, Chatham for 30 years, he worked as an engineer at Union Gas for 42 years before his retirement. Thanks to the nursing staff at the CKHA Medicine A, ICU, Dr. Tran, CCAC, and the Red Cross. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
