Obituary of Miena Poolman

POOLMAN, Miena A resident of Chatham, Miena Poolman, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home at the age of 87. Born in Holland, daughter of the late Frederik & Hilligje Houvast. Beloved wife of the late Johan “Joe” Poolman (2003). Loving mother to Heidi Mason of Chatham, Connie O’Neill of Chatham, Fred & Elaine Poolman of Chatham, Ria & Glenn Kellam of Chatham, Joanne Watters of Chatham, Robert & Anne Poolman of Hamilton. Grandmother to Lisa, Crystal, Keith, Shawn, Todd, Connor, Morgan, Samantha, Michaela, and the late Chance. Great-grandmother to Brandon, Daulton, Preston, Gage, Chase, Serenity, Brady, Samantha, Veronica, and Claire. Sister to the late Hendrik & Joe Houvast, the late Jan Houvast and his wife Coe, Fem Pullen, and half sister to Ria & Piet Kok. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix Street, Chatham on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
