Obituary of David Allen 'Dave' Trudell

TRUDELL: David Allen “Dave” – A lifelong resident of Highgate, Dave Trudell passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the age of 64. Born in Chatham, Dave was the son of the late Walter and Gladys (Crowley) Trudell. Beloved husband of the late Rebecca (nee Oakes) (2001). Loving father of Jennifer and Gerald Kuska of Highgate and Michelle and Doug Knight of Highgate. Proud grandfather of Amberlynn , Mathew and Daniel Kuska and Ryan Knight. Great-grandfather to Tanner Laczo. Survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Dave worked for 29 years at Eaton-Yale and loved his job driving truck at Agris. He was the Sergeant at Arms at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 335, Highgate and he thoroughly enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. It is the family’s request that guests dress casually. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Legion Service will be held on Tuesday at 7:00p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00p.m. at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 with Rev. John Maroney officiating. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery.
