Obituary of Geraldine 'Jean' Ellwood

ELLWOOD, Jean A resident of Chatham, Jean Ellwood (Letourneau), passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 88. Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Henry & Nellie Letourneau. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Ellwood. Mother to Donna Buschemeyer, Gloria & Paul Longstreet, Linda Newton, Tary Trottier, Fred & Joyce Labadie, Theresa & Richard Planty. Step-mother to Garry Ellwood, Darlene Liebert, the late Gayle Lloyd, Barbara Demers, the late Janice Eves, Randy Ellwood, Connie Wrotkowski, Mark Ellwood. Forever missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Ruth Castle, Lloyd Letourneau, and Donald Letourneau. Jean was born and raised in Chatham, she was a member of Living Faith Community Church where she sang in the Choir and taught Sunday School. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at Living Faith Community Church, 530 Victoria Avenue, Chatham on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
