MARSHALL, John Fildes – A resident of Chatham, and formerly Montreal, John passed away on November 20, 2014. Born November 22, 1917, John passed away at 96 years of age. Son of the Late John Agnew Marshall and Mazo (Fildes) Marshall. Husband to Doris Isabelle Marshall (Andrews). John and Doris celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary, surrounded by their family, in October. Father to Ernest Marshall (Lisa), Jay Marshall (Selina), and Barbara Gardiner (Paul). Grandfather to Thomas Marshall (Sue), Andrew Marshall (Heather Henning), Matthew Marshall (Christa Asseltine). Great-grandfather to Blake, Charlotte, Kate, Abigail, Ryan, and Nathan. Brother-in-law to George and Evelyn Andrews. John goes to join his sisters Grace Marshall (1987) and Anna Marshall (2012). ). Funeral Service will take place at the Chatham Retirement Resort, 25 Keil Drive North, Chatham, on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Luncheon to follow.
