Campbell: Ruth Ann A lifelong resident of the Chatham area, Ruth Campbell passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday November 28, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 20, 1938, daughter of the late Jack & Jean Newcombe. Beloved wife of 53 years to Duncan Campbell. Loving mother Debbie & John Pepper of Chatham, and Gordon & Denise Campbell of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Michael, Matthew & Megan Pepper, Corey & Kim Knight. Dear sister of Carol & Gerald Galbraith of Ridgetown, and the late Doug Newcombe. Sister-in-law of Nancy Newcombe of Chatham, James Campbell of Chatham, Jane Jones of Kent Bridge, and Helen Campbell of Chatham. Aunt Ruth will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, Chatham on Monday December 1, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday December 2 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Botany Cemetery, Howard Township.
