Obituary of Robert James McMullin

McMullin, Robert James January 5, 1928 - November 29, 2014 It is with sadness the family announce the passing of Bob in his 87th year. A lifelong farmer on River Line, Harwich Twp. Bob is survived by his loving wife Ola Jean (Farr) of 63 years. Survived by his loving children Rod McMullin, Cathy Sereda (Mike); grandchildren Andrea Sereda (Mike), Matthew Sereda (Emily), Jason Sereda (Jackie); and great grandchildren Hazel, Beatrice and Finnigan Sereda. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Georgina (Dauphin) McMullin; brother Gordon McMullin (Mildred); and sister-in-law Phyllis McKellar (Don). Survived by niece Leanne and family, nephews Jay, Blair and their families. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday December 3rd, 2014, at 11:30 am with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. His family wish to acknowledge the many loving caregivers from CHAPS, HomeInstead and the Village on the Ridge who made Dad's last years comfortable with their tender loving care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association and may be arranged through the funeral home.
