Thomas, Dorothy Alexandria (nee Austin) - of Blenheim, formally of Ridgetown, passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Hospital on Sunday December 7, 2014, age 88. Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Ross Thomas in 2007. Mother of Michael Thomas of Shrewsbury. Grandmother of Michael Thomas (Stacy) of St. Clair Shores, M.I. and Joel Thomas of Chatham. Great-grandmother of Kylar, Kaiden and Ryley. Survived by sisters Elsie Sinnott of Windsor and Rosemary Wilson of Kentucky. Brother-in-law of Jack Thomas of Wainfleet. Dear friend of Connie and Ross Hebblethwaite and Margorie McNear. Predeceased by her brothers Robert and John Austin. Dorothy was born on December 8, 1925 in Liverpool England to parents, the late Robert James Austin and the late Mary Florence (nee Ireland). A Memorial Service for Dorothy will be held at the funeral home, 141 Park St., Blenheim, at 11am on Thursday December 11, 2014. Inurnment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
