Obituary of Doris Campbell

CAMPBELL: Doris Jean. A longtime resident of R.R. # 3 Chatham, Doris Campbell died peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham. She was born in Putnam, 86 years ago on December 3, 1928, daughter of the late John & Ida (Marshall) Button. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Lyle Campbell (July 5, 2014). Loving mother of Larry & Susan, David & Margaret, Paul & Janet. Cherished grandmother of Laura & Kevin Poland, Kate Campbell, Colleen & Jordan Effa, Emily, Emma, Stephanie, and Sarah Campbell. Proud great grandmother of Claire Poland. Doris is survived by her brother Ross Button and his wife Ruth, and sister-in-law Evelyn Button of Charing Cross. Predeceased by her siblings Thelma & Don Waddell, Helen & Everitt Lynn, Harvey Button, Ida May & Don Simpson, and Dr. Jim & Nancy Button. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday December 23, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday December 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Congregational Church, 450 Park Avenue West, Chatham.
