Obituary of Donna 'Zelma' Cudney

CUDNEY: Donna 'Zelma' - A resident of Blenheim, Zelma Cudney passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the age of 91. Born in Mount Brydges, Zelma was the daughter of the late Grover and Amy Esther (Humphrey) Cudney. Dear sister to Irma Lobbestael of Blenheim, May Luther of Ridgetown and Fay Heatherington of Blenheim. Predeceased by her siblings Gerald Cudney, Evelyn MacDougall, Monta Cudney, Ralph Cudney and Wilbur Cudney. Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Zelma's first work contract was with the Lake Erie Navigation Company in Erieau. She worked in Blenheim's CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce) for 42 years, retiring in 1987. She loved her job and never, EVER divulged any business transactions. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home on Saturday, January 3, 2015 with Rev. Curtis Marwood officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations made in memory of Zelma to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
