Obituary of William 'Bill' Wood

Wood: William "Bill" A resident of Ridgetown, and formerly of Blenheim, William George Wood passed away at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the age of 79. He was born in Blenheim on May 19, 1935, son of the late Eugene (1957) & Flossie (Mills) Wood (1981). Beloved husband of Helen Wood (nee Garant). Loving father of Catherine Yasinski (Mark) of Harrison Hot Springs, B.C., William Wood Jr., and Sara Wood, both of Ridgetown. Cherished grandfather of Matthew Wood (Allison) of Tsawwassen, B.C., Natasha Wood of London, Anthony Yasinski of Harrison Hot Springs, B.C., and Jaleena Yasinski of Langley, B.C. Proud great grandfather of Alexander, Ethan, and Ella. Dear brother of Bob Wood (Betty) of Tiverton, Cecil Wood (Virginia) of Pontagourda, Florida, and the late Jim Wood (2013) and Ted Wood (1954). He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridgetown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
