McAuley, Grant R. A resident of Chatham, Grant Russell McAuley, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the age of 80. Born in Chatham, son of the late Margaret McAuley & Albert (Froggy) McAuley. Beloved husband of the late t Norah Jean (Griffenham) McAuley (1967), the late Mary Jane O'Quinn (2001), and the late Donna ( Martin )McAuley (2009) . Loving father to Shannon & Derek Lewis of Calgary, Janice Knapp & William Ouellette of North Bay. Grandfather to Mitchell. Brother to Dawn & Isabell McAuley of Chatham. Missed by his nieces and nephew Scott & Tanya McAuley, Kim McAuley & Joel Bennett and their families. Grant was a 4th Degree Member of Council 1412 Knights of Columbus-Father James Assembly, a member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Blessed Sacrament Parish, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 628, Peacetime Veteran, Wing 411 Royal Canadian Air Force, and worked for the R.C.A.F for over 35 years. Cremation has taken place. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Legion Service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus Prayers & Vigil Prayers at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
