Obituary of Murray James Patterson

PATTERSON: Murray J. - With his family at his side, Murray J. Patterson of Merlin passed away at Meadow Park Nursing Home in Chatham on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the age of 72. Son of the late James and Ruth (Armstrong) Patterson of Alvinston. Loving husband of Doris (nee Wilson). Dear father of Sandra (Trevor) Lewis of Port Coquitlam, B.C. and Scott (Reannon) Patterson of Punta Gorda, Florida. Dear grandfather of Ethan and Erica Lewis. Murray is also survived by his brother Doug (Susan) Patterson of Watford and his sister Carol (Wayne) McColl of West Lorne. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Wray (Janet) Wilson of Thorndale and several nieces and nephews. Some of Murray’s best times involved sporting events with his family. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at Merlin United Church, 100 Aberdeen Street on Sunday, March 8 at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Haupt officiating.
