Obituary of Cherie Elizabeth Kumpess

Cherie Kumpess, a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday March 14, 2015 at the age of 66. Daughter of the late Frank & Marjorie (Eden) Faubert. Beloved wife of Michael Kumpess. Dear mother of Todd (Tina) Kumpess, Chatham and Jason (Heather) Kumpess, Chatham. Grandmother of Jeffrey Kumpess, Cambridge. Sister of Gayle Fendley, Chatham and Frank (Wendy) Faubert, London. Also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and her fur babies, Coco, Sassy, and Boogie. Cherie was a past employee of the former Zeller’s, Chatham. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday March 19, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. A Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. Cremation with Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
