Obituary of Lucette Marie Klinard

Klinard, Lucette Marie (nee Cottin) Passed away at Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Sunday March 29, 2015 with her family by her side, age 85. Loving wife to Alfred Louis Klinard of Chatham. Mother of Brigitte (Christopher) Davis of Chatham. Nana to Jen and Drake Merritt. Lucette was born in Moiran France on August 3, 1929 to the late Eugene and Alice (nee Ferrand) Cottin. Predeceased by her sister Josette (Gabriel) Mouchet in France, Lucette was trained as a fine seamstress and worked in the haute couture fashion houses. Upon moving to Canada she continued her work as seamstress, was dedicated to her gardens and enjoyed cooking exquisite traditional French meals. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Lucette may be made to the OSCPA Kent County Branch, the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent, or the Foundation of CKHA by contacting the funeral home.
