Obituary of John Sojak

SOJAK: John - A resident of Ridgetown, John Sojak passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Monday, March 30, 2015 at the age of 87. Born in Chtelnica, Slovakia, John was the son of John and Justina (Basnak) Sojak. Beloved husband of 58 years to Mary (nee Tabacek). Loving father of Jane Henderson (Ross) of Strathroy and Tom Sojak (Sylvana) of Windsor. Proud grandfather of Candice and Robert. Survived by his sisters Mary Dinga, Bessie Kominek, Frances Kominek (Stan) and Martha Kovar (Al), and his brothers Milan Sojak and Jerry Sojak (Jean). Predeceased by his siblings Pat Cikatricis, Stanley Sojak, Louis Sojak, Joe Sojak and infant Agnes. Brother-in-law to Martha Kys and Irene Loop (Bob). Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 95 Marlborough St. N., Blenheim at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015 with Fr. Mariaraj Irudayam celebrant. Cremation has taken place with an interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery a later date. Donations made in memory of John to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
