Baert, Marcel Joseph, a resident of Chatham-Kent. Marcel Baert passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday March 31, 2015 at the age of 75. Born in Holland, son of the late Frank & Margaretha (Adams) Baert. Beloved huaband of Dianna (Delaey) Baert. Dear father of Deb (Joe) Charbonneau, Chatham and Brian (Isabel) Baert, Fort Erie, and late infant daughter Sandra (1966). Grandfather of Denise (Ryan); Kyle (Sarah) and great granddaughter Aaliyah. Brother of George (Yvonne) Baert, London and the late Camille Baert, Raymond Baert & Irma Vangoethem. Brother-in-law of Rosie Baert, Wallaceburg. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday April 3, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
