Obituary of Joe Cattoor

Cattoor, Jozef Louis “Joe” Of Chatham, passed away on Monday April 13, 2015 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, age 88. Born on January 22, 1927 in Knokke Belgium to the late Charles and Mary (nee De Vinck) Cattoor. Surived by his wife Auberte, children Richard (Beverley) Cattoor of Chatham, David (Lori) Cattoor of Chatham, Marie – Paule (Luc) Samson of Sherbrooke, QC, Mike (Tracy) DuQuette of Chatham, Normand (Francine) DuQuette of Toronto, Marie-Noelle (Rob) Whittal of Blenheim and Claude DuQuette of Chatham. Grandfather of fifteen and great-grandfather of eight. Will be missed by his extended family and many friends. Predeceased by brother Marcel Cattoor (2004). Joe worked as a millwright by trade for many years in the Chatham-Kent Area. In retirement he continued his hands on trade with his wood carvings. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday April 16, 2015 from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Father Michon as Celebrant. Cremation to follow.
