Obituary of Kenneth Donald Maynard

Maynard, Kenneth Donald Of Chatham, passed away on Sunday May 17, 2015, age 85. Loving husband to Doreen (nee Armstrong) Maynard for 65 years. Beloved father of Diane Watson (Barry) of Chatham, Jan Isaacs (Bill) of Lighthouse Cove, Cathy Cadotte (Brian) of Wallaceburg, Brian Maynard (Susan) of Chatham and Kevin Maynard (Jeff Murphy) of Mississauga. Grandfather of eight and great-grandfather of nine. Dad will be missed by his little pup Maggie. Predeceased by his parents George Henry Maynard Jr. and Grace Bertha (nee Moon) and by his son-in-law Robert Savoie. Ken retired from the Corporation of the City of Chatham in 1993 and was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Chatham. Visitation for Ken will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday May 18, 2015 from 4-6 p.m.. Visitation will continue on Tuesday May 19, at 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with the Venerable Paul Millward Officiating. A private family burial will be held at the Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg at a later date. Donations in memory of Ken may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice by contacting the funeral home.
